Board Certification / Accreditation is available to eligible candidates across Canada through The Canadian Association of Alternative Medicine and Allied Healthcare Professionals (CAMAH).

Being an independent certifying authority, CAMAH is not associated with nor supports any particular pre-certifying, training, or educational organization.

Errors do not hold CAMAH, its members, volunteers, workers, or executives personally accountable.

The CAMAH disclaims all duty and responsibility for the use or abuse of the information presented here, and it offers no warranties, guarantees, or representations regarding its correctness or sufficiency.

Board certification is non-governmental and optional. Based on the data provided on their individual CAMAH application, the recipient has attested, if verified by the CAMAH, that they have fulfilled the prerequisites and are eligible for certification. These specifications concern education and experience.

The CAMAH Certification and Accreditation are not legally liable for the degree programs, coursework, official functions, or any other component of a CAMAH-recognized institution or college.

Accreditation is voluntary (non-governmental). Legally speaking, CAMAH and its director will be released from all accountability for the academic achievement of the pupils enrolled in its approved schools.

Any grievances or issues concerning specific schools have to be addressed with the schools directly. A prospective student should thoroughly research a CAMAH-approved institution before enrolling in an ANY program or beginning coursework.

Accreditation by CAMAH does not ensure that your "curriculum" will be accepted by other educational institutions.

The information supplied by the applicant, through any third party mentioned in the application, or otherwise, is not subject to validation by CAMAH.

Board certification and accreditation are granted by CAMAH by applicant-submitted documents and identification verification. When submitting their application, the applicant must attest that the date they have provided is accurate and compliant with law.

CAMAH is not in charge of any member's behavior or the accurate or incorrect interpretation of any international, national, provincial, state, or local legislation. It also does not grant any “authority” or “rights”.

Each member is required to confer with their state and local legislatures for their professional scope of practice.

CAMAH is not a place of learning. Diplomas or Degrees are not awarded by the CAMAH through certificates.

Legal Qualifications or licensure are not conferred by certification. The CAMAH does not assume liability or guarantee the practitioner's competence. It is not necessary to be association-certified to practice.
